Teen save-the-date, July 27, 28 and 29 Our mission trip this year takes us to Logan Square in Chicago, specifically to The Church of the Advent and Nuestra Senora de las Americas at 2600 Logan Boulevard. Priest and ex-St. Christopher's parishioner, Sandra Castillo is the rector/vicar of the two congregations and has enthusiastically helped us plan a mission trip mingling her congregations’ teens and ours in important, productive work and easy social interaction.
You can still sign up for the Mississippi Mission Trip Be part of the large and committed group of teenagers from the Diocese (and from St. C's) traveling some distance to provide needed help for Hurricane Katrina victims. The trip runs from Saturday to Saturday, July 28 through August 4. Barbara Kohnhorst, available through the church office, will gladly provide any information you need to play a hands-on active role in hurricane relief.
