Dear People of St. Christopher's
This Sunday...
Jesus begins his public ministry in the Gospel of Mark, proclaiming the nearness of God's kingdom and calling disciples to follow him. We'll be on Zoom for 8:00, Wiggle Worship, and 10:30, and then resume Simple Eucharists on the lawn after Adult Formation. Join us Sunday as we, too, hear the call to follow and the announcement that God has drawn near.
You can attend Rite 2 Morning Prayer at 10:30 via Zoom, or, next Sunday, on our Facebook page. Click here for Sunday's 10:30 Morning Prayer liturgy.
If you need help, or didn't receive the church's email on Thursday, please contact Eric or Jen.
Worship During a Pandemic Update
The governor has moved our region to Tier 2 mitigations, and the diocesan staff have lifted the suspension of in-person worship. However, Tier 2 mitigations only allow ten people in any gathering. For the time being, we plan to keep our Sunday morning services entirely online. But we are reinstating the Simple Eucharists on the lawn, beginning next Sunday, January 31. Remember that to attend a Simple Eucharist, you must sign up in advance, wear a mask, and maintain physical distance.
Simple Eucharist on the Lawn at 1:15 pm, starting January 31
Next week we resume our Simple Eucharists. These are fifteen minute liturgies with only the absolute essentials for Eucharist, but allow us to share communion. All participants must sign up here, come masked, and maintain physical distance on the lawn through the service. If we run out of slots, we can add more services.
