Our worship, our music, our Sunday School, our outreach, our staff, our buildings and every candle is made possible by the generosity of our church members, friends, and supporters. The people of St. Christopher’s are our service ministers and, working with the staff and vestry, are full stewards of the mission and ministry of our congregation. Steward is an ancient concept. A steward is a person who is responsible for someone else’s property, finances, or affairs.
Good Friday
Good Friday (4/7) is the day the church recognizes Jesus crucifixion. As he was put to death, Jesus prayed for God’s people, saying, “Forgive them for they no not what they do.” Following Jesus’ example, the Church gathers and prays for the world as Jesus prayed for the world. We walk with Jesus through the Stations of the Cross (4/7 – 12noon), retracing his steps to Calvary through scripture and prayers for the world.
