Harry Potter Retreat

Everyone is invited to gather at the Stronghold Castle in Oregon, Illinois, for a weekend of spirituality, fellowship and fun. Using the themes in the Harry Potter series, we will wonder about what are the “dementors” in our lives and what we need from the “Room of Requirement”, eat Potter-themed food, make wands and potions, and even play Quidditch! We will have a Eucharist together on Sunday, and engage in a service project in the local community. There is sleeping space in the castle for families to be together. Youth will be in a different portion of the Castle and may attend without an adult but will need to arrange their own transportation. All accommodations are bunk-style. Everyone will pitch in for meals, snacks, and clean-up.
