Service Opportunities: PADS
(Public Action to Deliver Shelter)
PADS Overnight Shelter coming to St. Christopher's in 2012.
From January through April, St. C's will serve as an overflow site on
the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Fridays.
We help provide breakfast, lunch and an occasional dinner for these shifts. You are also invited every Christmas to help purchase gifts for PADS families and to make deserts for their Christmas party, which St. Christopher's hosts.
1,000 volunteers and more than 50 faith communities are the driving force behind feeding and sheltering women men and children experiencing homelessness in our community. Come join the St. C's team! Check out the giving bulletin board in the parish hall for more information and sign-up sheets. For additional questions, contact Laura Kliewer, Laura Jordahl, Linda Bolte, or the parish office.

Also, here is a list of grocery needs for meal volunteers.
