Richard L. Sobak - Interim Organist/Choirmaster
Our Choirs are active from September through mid-June.
"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord" (Psalm 100) . . .
and help your child grow at the same time.
Adult Liturgical Choir
The St. Christopher's Liturgical Choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 7:30-9:00 pm and on Sundays from 9:30-10:15 am under the direction of organist/choirmaster Richard Sobak. They sing most Sundays from September through mid June and for special services. Membership is open to singers age 15 and older. Choral singing experience is helpful and sight-reading skills are an asset, but neither is required. Special rehearsals are also called at times during the year.
Primary Choir
Our beginning choir for children age three through third grade is led by organist/choirmaster Richard Sobak who introduces the children to music during part of their Church School time. They learn simple songs and rhythm and sing in church on special occasions like Easter Sunday.
Instrumentalists
If you have hidden talents like playing an instrument - piano, guitar, flute . . . you name it - then our Director of Music wants to know. Instrumentalists are needed in Advent, Lent, for our summer "mass on the Grass," and whatever other times you can play.
